In order to ensure that both The Prenatal Nutritionist Ltd (the Company) and our clients and users are properly equipped to meet the demands of the latest EU personal data regulation (General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679), we have integrated these demands into our general terms & conditions.
We also have a data processor agreement that likewise meets the demands of the GDPR.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using this site.

6.2 Green Light Nutrition Ltd does not guarantee that the site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis. The Prenatal Nutritionist Ltd may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of the site without notice. The Prenatal Nutritionist Ltd will not be liable to you if for any reason the site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
6.3 you are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to our site.
6.4 you are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access the site through your internet connection are aware of these terms of use and other applicable terms and conditions, and that they comply with them.

9.7 The Prenatal Nutritionist Ltd assumes no responsibility for the content of websites linked on the site. Such links should not be interpreted as endorsement by us of those linked websites. The Prenatal Nutritionist Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
9.8 different limitations and exclusions of liability will apply to liability arising as a result of the supply of any services to you.
Limitation of liability: clinical practice & private 1:1 programmes
9.9 Claire Hitchen is not a physician or psychologist, and the scope of his/her consultation services does not include treatment or diagnosis of specific illnesses or disorders. If I, the client, suspect I may have an ailment or illness that may require medical attention, then it is my responsibility to consult with a licensed physician immediately. Only a licensed physician can prescribe drugs.
9.9.1 Any mention of drugs in the course of consultation is only for the purpose of providing a complete history of drugs that the client is taking and not for Claire Hitchen to judge the appropriateness of the medication. Any change in prescription or dosage is a decision the client makes with his or her physician.
9.9.2 Rather than dealing with treatment of disease, Claire Hitchen focuses on supporting optimal health, specifically for fertility and during pregnancy, through the use of evidence-based nutritional and lifestyle therapies. As BANT Registered Nutritionist, Claire Hitchen primarily educates and motivates clients to optimise their diet and lifestyle. While people generally experience greater health and wellness as a result of embracing a healthier attitude, lifestyle, and diet Claire Hitchen does not promise or guarantee protection from future illness.
9.9.3 By visiting this site and booking a private 1:1 programme or clinic consultation, you acknowledge that you understand that Claire Hitchen is a BANT Registered Nutritionist and not a physician, and that I should see a doctor if I think I have a medical condition. Claire Hitchen will not be held liable for failure to diagnose or treat an illness, nor will she be liable for failure to prevent future illness.
9.9.4 In addition, by booking a private 1:1 programme or clinic consultation, you confirm you will give / have given Claire Hitchen a complete and accurate account of any medical conditions that you may have and any medications that you are taking.
9.9.5 By booking a clinic consultation or private 1:1 programme, you acknowledge and agree:
1. The purpose of nutritional counselling is to improve the overall health, vitality and well-being of the body through nutritional education and the use of diet and non-medicinal nutritional supplements. The Nutritionist, Claire Hitchen, does not diagnose diseases.
2. The Nutritionist, Claire Hitchen, is not a licensed Dietitian, Naturopathic Doctor or Medical Physician.
3. As part of the Nutritional Counselling Services, you may be asked to provide information concerning your physical habits, medical history, moods, energy levels, likes and dislikes, lifestyle and diet. This information is collected to enable the Nutritionist to: (i) assess your knowledge of nutrition, (ii) education you about the benefits of sound nutritional practices and (iii) recommend dietary changes to improve your general health, vitality and overall well-being. The Nutritionist Claire Hitchen will hold this information in confidence and will not release or disclose this information to any other person, without your prior consent, except as required by applicable law.
4. If the Nutritionist Claire Hitchen, suspects the existence of disease, disorder or condition, you will be informed of this suspicion. However, you acknowledge this is not a diagnosis or conclusion about the state of your health and that you are directed to promptly consult a licensed Physician about any suspected problems.
5. Should you request the Nutritionist, Claire Hitchen, to recommend dietary changes and/or nutritional supplements to enhance your body’s natural ability to resist and/or overcome a known disease, disorder or condition, it is your responsibility to disclose the nature of the disease, disorder or condition and all other relevant details to the Nutritionist, Claire Hitchen. If you have not previously consulted a licensed Physician about this disease, disorder or condition, you acknowledge that you are directed to promptly do so. You are not to alter or discontinue treatments prescribed by a licensed Physician or other licensed health professional without consulting the individual who prescribed the treatment.
6. In providing Nutrition Counselling Services to you, the Nutritionist, Claire Hitchen, is relying upon the truth, accuracy and completeness of all information you provide to her. Any recommendations you follow for changes in diet, including the use of nutritional supplements, are entirely your responsibility.
7. Claire Hitchen is in no way liable for my health or safety.
8. In consideration of my participation in the Nutritional Counselling Services, you hereby accept all risk to my health, including injury or death that may result from such participation and you hereby release the Nutritionist, Claire Hitchen, on my behalf and on behalf of your personal representatives, estate, heirs, next of kin, and assigns from any and all costs, claims, causes of action and damages arising from any and all illness or injury to your person, including your death, that may result from or occur as a result of your participation in the Nutrition Counselling Services, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
9. 48 hours’ notice is required for cancelling appointments. Appointments cancelled within 48 hours of your appointment time will be billed at 100%.
10. You understand that any therapies you undertake are undertaken of your own free will. You accept that the ultimate responsibility for your health care is your own and that Claire Hitchen is here to support you in this. You understand that your practitioner reserves the right to determine which cases fall outside their scope of practice, in which event an appropriate referral will be recommended. You hereby agree to assume full responsibility for any manner of loss, injury, claim or damage whatsoever, known or unknown, incurred as a result of same and you, your heirs, executors, administrators or assigns for any loss, injury, claim or damage sustained as a result of your attendance and/or participation. By booking a consultation, you confirm you have read the above release and waiver of liability, and fully understand its contents and voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated.
Viruses
10.1 The Prenatal Nutritionist Ltd does not guarantee that the site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.
10.2 you are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform in order to access our site. You should use your own virus protection software.
10.3 you must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our site. You must not attack our site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the computer misuse act 1990. The Prenatal Nutritionist Ltd will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our site will cease immediately.

11.1 You may link to our site provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.
11.2 You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.

Use of paid digital products, courses, and associated material
14.1 The Company from time-to-time provides various courses, digital guides, and associated material ("Material") for sale on this site. The Company grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our courses, programs, and associated material for your own personal use. Except as otherwise provided, you acknowledge and agree that you have no right to modify, edit, copy, reproduce, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, alter, enhance or in any way exploit any of the Material in any manner.

The Company grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our resources provided in exchange for an email address (the “Freemium Content”) for your own personal use. Except as otherwise provided, you acknowledge and agree that you have no right to modify, edit, copy, reproduce, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, alter, enhance or in any way exploit any of the Freemium Content in any manner.
